The town of Marshfield joins a growing number of other communities in Massachusetts that have rejected the state’s MBTA Communities Act. The Act is MA’s answer to their housing crisis by requiring cities and towns near public transit, build multifamily housing adjacent to transit. Marshfield has until the end of 2024 to comply or risk losing state funding. We hear from Marshfield residents who share their thoughts.
